The day of rest.

Everyone says sunday is the day of rest… so that’s exactly what I did!

I had COFFEE 🙂 did some cleaning to work up my appetite for breakfast:


1/4 c oatmeal, 1/2 cup egg whites, 1 TB WCW pb, raisins, suncrystals = MMMMMMMMMM!


Raw lunch for me today!

1 sweet potato + squash, zuccini, onion medely = YUM! Except I couldn’t eat it all because I added too much pepper and it set me on FIRE! wheewwwww.

My sister and I went to the grocery store && ran errands. Somehow we spent $250 at the store (JEEZE!) You could definately tell that we healthy eaters when half the cart is produce alone. I snapped a shot of a few protein bars to add to the collection in my car to eat at work since I need a lot of energy to run around:

I already have a few Luna Bars in there, so these will be a nice add on. I always bring a fruit or veggie to pair it with if I know I’ll be running around for several hours.

I watched the Blind Side with my family with some OATS! (w. Mighty Maple pb & cocoa) with strawberries and a pear.

Yea I definately bought Tofu, Temph, and Cottage Cheese for the first time. We’ll see how that goes. Gotta add in a little more protein to lean up! Maybe Ill get some Whey Protein tomorrow.. hmm…

Saturday Insanity.

Wheewww yesterday was a busy day!

It started early when the yard people came to relandscape our yard.

9am– I had an apple to rev up my metabolism && COFFEE (of course) 😉

Natures Promise Goji are BY FAR my favorite 🙂

11:20am– Got back from running errands & had a preworkout snack

B0-nana w/my tree I painted on my wall in the background.

Remember how I said I was going to KILL IT @ the gym today… I kept my promise 😀 torched 850 cal in an hour on the elliptical! I felt so accomplished!

I came home, ate some OATS w. CRS pb, egg whites (for protein) and raisins. I was so tired from the workout so I had ANOTHER cup of coffee; I have a problem haha

5:30 – Dinner was this :

Dark green salad w. FF italian (as always)


Spicy Black Bean Veggie burger w. onion/pickle/mustard/BBQ drop.

This is seriously SO GOOD! I mixed all of the condiments in the bowl and put it ontop. MMMM GOOD!

Work was great 🙂 I’m a banquet server leader & I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else. It’s a chaotic job, lots of running around, and schedule-ly. I am a VERY schedule-ly type of person. I am ALSO a perfectionist, which would explain my love for schedules and lists.

9pm– at work, I had another small banana & Kashi Crunch Chocolate Almond bar to energize me to keep running around.

I got home late HUNGRY and TIRED. Late night snack time 🙂

After a long day, this HIT THE SPOT! Sooo good!

I really want to try tofu and cottage cheese this week. Any favorite recipes you guys want to hook me up with?

Rain to Shine.

Today started sooo gloomy! SLEEPY HOLLOWWW :O

Super Rainy = Super gloomy Paige!

The usual cup-a-jo!

 Coffee always perks me up, no matter what the trouble is: sleepyness, sadness, RAINNESS. I hate the rain, YUCKY!!!

I AM SO STUPID: I had to insert new batteries in the camera… DUH!


 I had HALF of my Healthy Peach Cobbler breakfast since I was having lunch with a couple friends at their campus.

Lunch = small salad, small piece of a grilled eggplant sandwich

Snack= I RARELY have icecream (or treats like this since I am trying to achieve my fitness goal) but I promised my sister we would go today…

All Lovin' No Oven (Like It size)

 Worth every bite 🙂

Dinner = Salad w. fat free italian dressing && homemade low fat tortilla pizza!

Dark leafy greens are so good for you!

Yummy in my tummy!

Recipe: 1 whole grain tortilla, 1 low calorie/fat motz cheese stick inside, 1 spoon tom sauce w. garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, oregano, 1 tsp. tom paste, onion chopped up on the top && a little parm cheese sprinkle! YUM!!!

My tummy hurt SO BAD from the icecream (I’m not used to all the sugar!) So dinner was LATEEEE!

Today was fantastic, just wish I had a chance to HIT THE GYM 😦

But that’s totally ok, tomorrow morning I will KILL IT && be running around at work to continue my fitness journey (which I would love to achieve for SO many reasons.) I think I can, I think I can…

Have a good friday night everyone! I am off to make a snack of some fruit && yogurt OR small bowl of oats.. hmmm..

Dead Camera :(

Well, today was PRETTY SWEET.

It started with this AMAZZZINGG coffee:

The usual cup of jo: coffee + skim milk + sun crystals

I LOVE suncrystals.. I usually always add it to coffee, yogurt, && oats. My goal is to use less though :/ VICE #1.

THEN MY CAMERA FREAKIN’ DIED, and me being the stupid idiot I am, couldn’t figure out how to charge it before I left for Starbucks. Thats right, STARBUCKS, NOT CLASS, STARBUCKS!!! Our group met there to rehearse for our project. Something I could toooootallllyyyy get used to!

I had a YUMMY Iced Skinny Carmel Latte @ the fabulous STARBUCKS. They should just be called BUCKS cause they are PRICAAAYYYY!

I then had a preworkout banana.


1 c. Total 0% + 1/2 c. peaches + 1/4 c. Fiber 1 + spices (cinnamon, suncrystals, van. extract)

Soooo YUM!!! 
Snack = An apple && coffee to-go before class number dos!
Dinner = Plate of salad w. 1 tbs fat-free italian dressing + mushroom veggie burger + bowl of cabbage! (Ill take a pic of the yummy pot of cabbage my dad makes. SO GOOD, SO HEALTHY, SO MMMMM!)

Chocolate Covered Raisin Oatmeal (my newest concoction!)

1/4 c. oatmeal + 1/2 c. eggwhites + 1 tbs. DCD pb + pinch of cocoa powder + suncrystals + raisins + 1 tsp. WCW pb = MY FAVORITE NIGHT-TIME OATS!!! && the NAME just makes it even better 🙂 I’ll have a prettier picture tomorrow!!
My day has been SWEEEEET!
WorkedOut  for an hour and a half (lifted for an hour + 20min stair climb!)
Two evening classes. I was FORSURE I bombed my english paper (my teach is known as an insane grader). I’ve never cried so much over a paper. I left a comment of the paper (which had to be FIVE PAGES, yuck.) saying “I had several panic attacks during this paper… I hope I PASSED!!!) She called me up in front of everyone (I’m the loser who sits in the back) and said “YOU HOPE YOU PASS?! THIS IS A WONDERFUL PAPER!!!” says the teacher who doesn’t believe anyone’s paper is worth an A.
Anyways, I’m going to finish a Nutrition Midterm. Woo!

Coffee Addict.

So, because I am new to blogging… I kinda forgot to take picture of what I ate after breakfast :/

BUT I’m headed on the right track!

Coffee + banana = STUDY FUEL!   +  Breakfast: 1 c. Fage 0% + CRS* + peaches + a sprinkle of Fiber 1 + cinn + sun   crystal packet + van. extract = PEACH COBBLER FOR BREAKFAST 😀 Soooo yummy && so good for you!

* CRS = Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Peanut Butter 😀

Lunch = salad with a sprinkly of chickpeas + a sweet potato

Pre-Workout Fuel = Cookie Dough Balance Bar (first try)

Post workout/dinner = OATS! Ill show you a picture of my next oatmeal concoction!

Alrighty, well I’m going to go meet up with my group, and begin my day! Ill post a FULL  day tonight!

I hate the rain.

Allow my to introduce myself… I’M PAIGE!
There is a bunch of info in my ABOUT ME so check it out!

So lets start!

Eating healthy and exercising is what I LOVE to do. I’m 5 foot 5 and I’m working at achieving my fitness goal by May/June (I don’t have far to go!) Becoming more lean would be an awesome goal 😀

Today =

8am- woke up, consumed 2 cups of coffee + 1 banana (pre workout)

930am-11am- strength training + 20 min cardio torch session

1130am- OATMEAL (w. Cinnamon Raisin Swirl pb, egg whites, sun crytals) + an apple


3pm- a sweet potato + brussel sprouts + kale chips +(dessert ->) 1/2 fage yogurt + a few peach slices

6pm- coffee

720 pm- salad + small whole grain low fat tortilla pizza

1020pm- small bowl oatmeal with Dark Chocolate Dreams, egg whites, raisins

TODAY felt like the weirdest day though. The rain seems to change my mood.
